Throughout the season, Browns fans share their confidence and opinions through SB Nation Reacts polls.

Even though the Browns came up short in their Week 1 battle against the Bengals, falling 17-16, fan confidence surprisingly rose from 66% to 76%. Veteran quarterback Joe Flacco ran the offense smoothly, giving the team every chance to win, while the defense delivered one of the most dominant second-half performances you could ask for. Unfortunately, in classic “Only in Cleveland” fashion, the game slipped away thanks to two tipped passes that turned into interceptions and a pair of missed field goals from the rookie kicker. Still, several other rookies played meaningful snaps and impressed, which has fans feeling encouraged about the future.

Meanwhile, things look very different for this week’s opponent. The Baltimore Ravens’ fan confidence plummeted from 95% down to 42%. That’s not just a number—it’s a sign of a restless fanbase frustrated by seeing their team collapse in big moments time and time again. Until Baltimore proves they can overcome those late-game mistakes, many will continue to doubt whether they’re truly built to be a legitimate Super Bowl contender.

This week, fans were also asked two key questions. The first focused on which rookie impressed the most in Week 1 for Cleveland. With plenty of strong candidates to choose from, linebacker Carson Schwesinger led the way, earning 43% of the vote. He was followed closely by tight end Harold Fannin (32%), running back Dylan Sampson (22%), and defensive tackle Mason Graham (3%).

The second question looked ahead to this Sunday’s matchup against the Ravens. When asked about the expected outcome, 70% of fans predicted a Baltimore win, while 30% still backed the Browns to pull off an upset. Oddsmakers have Cleveland listed as 11.5-point underdogs, but a confident minority of fans believe the Browns have what it takes to shock the Ravens.
