The Cleveland Browns vs. Detroit Lions matchup turned into a one-sided play — but for the Browns, it was more of a tragicomedy. While the Lions cruised to a 34-10 win, Joe Flacco was out there throwing passes like he secretly switched sides mid-game. Three interceptions, including a pick-six — honestly, Hollywood writers couldn’t have scripted it better.
And yet, head coach Kevin Stefanski? Calm as ever. While fans were screaming across social media — “Change the QB!” — Stefanski stepped up to the mic and preached patience, saying it wasn’t just one guy’s fault.

Stefanski doubled down with this:
“I understand the question. But it’s not our focus. It’s never going to be about one person. We’re not doing a good enough job. I put myself in there as well. We have to be better.”
Wow, coach. So, if the whole team is bad, why blame Flacco? Perfect logic! Although, if “not good enough” means a 47.1% completion rate and a 39.3 passer rating, then fans aren’t crying — they’re laughing through the pain.
Flacco’s season so far has been, well, ugly. Some games at 58% completion, others at 55%, and always at least one interception lurking around. Still, Stefanski sees him as the veteran leader — the guy with over 46,000 passing yards and 259 touchdowns in his career. Basically, he’s like an old CD: scratched up, barely playable, but kept around for nostalgia.
The real issue though? It’s not just Flacco. The entire offense looks broken. The Lions defense pressured him like it was a WWE smackdown instead of an NFL game. The result? Rushed throws, busted timing, and fans covering their faces with both hands.
So yes, for Stefanski, Flacco is still “QB1.” For the fans, though? He’s more like “QB Why?”
