Kansas City Chiefs fans are definitely feeling a bit uneasy right now. Starting 0-2 in the first two games has many thinking the season is already over. But is it really that bad? Our Mark Gunnels points out, “Chiefs are closer to having things fixed than people realize”.

Sounds like all hope isn’t lost—just a little patience is needed.
If the Chiefs had gone 0-2 against the Carolina Panthers and Tennessee Titans, then maybe it would be a real concern. But the reality is, they were just a couple of plays away from beating the LA Chargers and reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles. Especially in Week 2, the Kansas City defense completely stifled Philadelphia’s offense—which is definitely a reason to feel optimistic.
On offense, sure, there are problems. The running game outside of Mahomes has been lacking. But here’s the bright side: when Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice return, the passing game will open up, and the rushing attack will improve. And speaking of the running back, Isiah Pacheco—“Isiah Pacheco will be a Pro Bowl RB this year if given the necessary touches”.

He’s only had 15 carries so far, but given the chance, he can prove himself.
And then there’s Offensive Coordinator Matt Nagy. Yes, fans have been saying, “Fire Matt Nagy”.

But let’s not forget, as long as Andy Reid is the head coach, the main responsibility lies with him. No matter how much Nagy contributes, the credit—or blame—mostly goes to Reid.
Another oddity is tight end Noah Gray. “Noah Gray needs more targets”.

With Rice and Worthy out, Gray could see more action, and using him properly could add some much-needed spark to the passing game.
Overall, the Chiefs are still fixing things, and we just need a little patience. Sure, there are mistakes, but the season isn’t over yet. Soon, watching every game will be fun again.
“Chiefs fans, don’t panic yet—just wait. Mahomes will work his magic… and maybe Gray will even learn to dance a little!”
