Cleveland Radio Host Loses His Mind Live On Air After Joe Flacco’s Big Win

There’s no peace in Cleveland these days—and that goes double for Tony Rizzo. Because on Thursday Night Football, Joe Flacco lit it up so hard that it felt like he was torching the Browns’ front office instead of the Steelers’ defense.

Yes, you heard that right. The same Joe Flacco that the Cleveland Browns personally delivered to their divisional rival, the Cincinnati Bengals, just threw for 342 yards and three touchdowns, leading them to a 33–31 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The very next morning, ESPN Cleveland radio host Tony Rizzo absolutely lost it on-air, going full meltdown mode over GM Andrew Berry and owner Jimmy Haslam.

Before that, he shouted—
“How could you do that, Andrew. How could you do it! Why on earth did you feel the need to trade this guy to a division opponent for a fifth-round draft pick? Fireable offense! That is a fireable offense!”

For years, Browns fans thought the “quarterback curse” only haunted the field. Turns out, it’s alive and well inside their trade department too.

Cleveland, once dubbed the Factory of Sadness, might as well rename itself The Factory of Gifted Rivals—where they hand quarterbacks to other teams just to watch them shine elsewhere.

Ironically, the main reason behind this trade was to give rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel (and eventually Shedeur Sanders) some playing time. But now fans are wondering, “Was trading Flacco worse than keeping Gabriel on the bench?”

And as Rizzo screamed into the mic, you could almost picture someone hanging a “Fire Andrew Berry” banner in the ESPN Cleveland studio.

At this point, Browns fans have only one thing left to say—
“Just pray Flacco doesn’t win a Super Bowl… or Rizzo might actually bite his mic next time.”
