NFL fans are scratching their heads right now — “Are the Cowboys crazy or just crazy smart?”
Because according to reports, they’ve shown interest in trading for Las Vegas Raiders’ beastly pass-rusher Maxx Crosby. Yep, you heard it right — Jerry Jones and company might be eyeing Crosby as Micah Parsons’ future replacement!
Breaking: according to sources the @dallascowboys have made inquiries with the @Raiders about a potential trade for Maxx Crosby

Maxx Crosby — the machine who’s been terrorizing quarterbacks since 2019. In his seven seasons with the Raiders, he’s been to the Pro Bowl four straight years, and this year, he’s already off to another fiery start: 4 sacks, 28 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 1 interception, and 1 forced fumble. Basically, he’s the only bright spot in an otherwise gloomy Raiders season.
But just as the rumor started heating up, NFL insider Clarence Hill Jr. came in like a fire extinguisher and cooled it down real quick, saying the Cowboys haven’t actually made any contact with the Raiders.
Per source, the Cowboys have not made any contact with Raiders about Maxx Crosby.

That doesn’t mean they haven’t had any internal discussions about possible moves or options.
But “Haven’t talked to Raiders about Crosby”, per source@DLLS_Cowboys
Translation? Cowboys might be talking about Crosby over coffee in their office, but they haven’t picked up the phone yet!
Now, here’s the tricky part — Crosby isn’t exactly up for grabs. The Raiders locked him in with a 3-year, $106.5 million extension back in March, keeping him under contract through 2029.
But the Raiders are off to a miserable 2–5 start. Despite adding QB Geno Smith, rookie RB Ashton Jeanty, and head coach Pete Carroll, they look far from playoff contention.
So fans can’t help but wonder — “If the Raiders hit rebuild mode, could Crosby actually be available?”
And the Cowboys? Probably thinking, “If we add Crosby next to Parsons, our Instagram followers are gonna skyrocket!”
In reality, it’s still just a rumor for now — but in the NFL, rumors like these have a funny way of becoming reality. And if this one ever does, imagine Micah Parsons and Maxx Crosby lining up side by side — opposing quarterbacks might need a heart monitor before every snap!
