You don’t see interceptions like this every day.
The Washington Commanders were driving deep into Kansas City Chiefs territory, and everything looked promising — until it suddenly turned into a blooper reel moment straight out of a comedy show.

Marcus Mariota threw a solid pass toward Deebo Samuel. Everything seemed fine… until it wasn’t. Instead of catching the ball with his hands, Samuel decided to make an audition tape for America’s Funniest Football Moments. The ball slipped through his hands, smacked him right in the facemask, and popped up in the air — perfectly gift-wrapped for Chiefs defensive lineman Mike Danna.

And just like that, a promising drive went down the drain — thanks to what might now be called “The Facemask Fumble.”
NFL fans online joked that Deebo might win “Hands-Off Player of the Year,” since his hands clearly took the day off.

Chiefs fans, of course, are probably saying, “That’s just Chiefs magic, baby!”
Meanwhile, on the Commanders’ sideline, someone was likely googling: “How to remove butter from a receiver’s hands.”

The replay of the moment became instant gold on ESPN and NFL Plus — fans couldn’t stop watching it, each time laughing harder than before.

In the end, Deebo Samuel probably learned one valuable lesson:
“Always use your hands — not your face!”
