Eagles Trade for WR John Metchie III in Deal with Texans

The Philadelphia Eagles have strengthened their wide receiver group by acquiring John Metchie III from the Houston Texans. In exchange, the Texans receive tight end Harrison Bryant along with a 2026 fifth-round pick, while the Eagles get back a 2026 sixth-round pick as part of the draft pick swap.

This move adds another young playmaker to the Eagles’ offense, while the Texans gain valuable depth at tight end heading into the new season.
