Kyler Murray OUT with Foot Injury, Jacoby Brissett Returns to His Old Home! Cardinals Fans Be Like

Sunday morning started like a Netflix plot twist for Arizona Cardinals fans. Everyone thought Kyler Murray was finally getting back on track—but nope! A foot injury just ruined the plan.

According to ESPN, Murray won’t play in Week 6 against the Indianapolis Colts after injuring his foot last week in the 22-21 loss to the Tennessee Titans.

Yup, that very game where the Cardinals lost by one point—and Murray’s foot got more bruised than the football.

And no, this isn’t just a rumor. Adam Schefter himself confirmed it:

Brissett’s career has been quite the roller coaster. In 10 seasons, he’s started 53 games, going 19–34 with 53 career touchdowns. His last start came in Week 5 of last season for the New England Patriots—he won the opener, then lost four straight before getting benched. Basically, like a Netflix series where the pilot episode is great, and the rest you can just skip.

Cardinals fans are now wondering, “What will our offense even look like without Murray?” And Brissett is probably thinking, “Back at Lucas Oil… but this time in the wrong jersey.”

Murray practiced only on Friday—and that too a light session. Honestly, his foot needs more rest than hustle right now. If not, the Cardinals’ season could trip just like that last Titans game.
