The funny part? Everyone is still looking at Mahomes, as if he’s going to pull a Tom Brady-level miracle. The truth is, with Kelce hitting 36 and Chris Jones showing “aged version” at 31, you can’t blame Mahomes alone. The new receivers are out with injuries or suspensions, so supporting cast feels like a TV rerun—bad script, old dialogue.

So, the solution? The Chiefs need to stop waiting for “magic” and start putting in the “work.” As Michael Strahan would say: “You eat whether you’re hungry or not!” Otherwise, this season might only serve a menu of scrubbing pots and washing pans.
