NFL Thursday night felt like a rollercoaster for Marvin Harrison Jr. The start was rough, but in the fourth quarter, he reminded everyone why he was the fourth overall pick in the 2024 draft.
At halftime of the Arizona Cardinals vs. Seattle Seahawks game, the score was 14-3, and the question on everyone’s mind: do the Cardinals have a Marvin Harrison Jr. problem? Through the first three games, he had 10 receptions, 142 yards, and a touchdown—decent but not exactly what you expect from a top non-QB draft pick.
The first half was even more dramatic. Kyler Murray threw an interception because it seemed Harrison might have stopped running on the route.

The replay made it clearer—
Here's the replay showing that Marvin Harrison Jr stopped running (Senior, if you see this it's Kirk Herbstreit's fault, not mine)

Later, Murray took the blame for the mistake, but questions lingered.
The second interception was easier to pinpoint—

It looked like Seattle was about to run away with the game.
Then came Harrison’s fourth-quarter magic. The first touchdown came on an incredible catch, battling Devon Witherspoon, one of Seattle’s best defenders.

After the game, Murray said, “He needs me, I need him… So, we got to get this going.” Even with the interceptions on his mind, Harrison kept fighting. Coach Jonathan Gannon added, “He wants to help the team win… play fast. Control your effort, your mode of play and play fast, and I thought that’s what he did.”
The Cardinals may have lost, but they might have gained a new, more confident Marvin Harrison Jr.—one who can battle in the fourth quarter and restore faith in the team.
