NFL Says “Bye-Bye”—Texans Minority Owner Javier Loya Suspended Indefinitely!

The air in Houston today has a slightly sarcastic whiff—because the NFL has finally bench-suspended Texans minority owner Javier Loya indefinitely. Yes, that’s the same Loya who allegedly turned two “high-fashion” parties in 2022 into his own personal crime saga. Then came the 2023 charges, court proceedings, and a plea deal… and after more than a year of silence, the NFL’s Personal Conduct Policy decided it was time for action.

According to Jonathan M. Alexander, Loya hasn’t just been suspended—he’s also been fined a hefty sum: $500,000! The NFL says he may apply for reinstatement in June 2026. In other words, the NFL has put him on the ultimate time-out—when he can get up again, that’s up to Commissioner Goodell.

The allegations? Well, they sound less like “oops at a party” and more like a full-on unwanted wrestling match. One woman claimed—
“touched her and spoke to her in a s**ual manner, gra**ing her bu*t and brea*** without her consent.”

Other accusations were just as serious—though Loya denied all of them, the NFL’s hammer of accountability came down hard.

The Texans themselves had already made it clear—they do not condone this kind of drama. Their official statement was straight out of an NFL PR handbook:
“The Texans cooperated with the NFL’s investigation and fully support the suspension of Javier Loya, one of our outside limited partners,” the Texans told the Chronicle in a statement. “This behavior has no place in our organization or our community. Since charges were first filed, Mr. Loya has been prohibited from participating in any Club or League activities. That will continue indefinitely in accordance with the NFL’s decision.”

Basically, the Texans said, “We closed the door a while ago; the NFL just put a padlock on it.”

Meanwhile, the phrase “indefinite suspension” makes it feel like Loya has been thrown into some NFL time machine. Technically, he can knock on the door in six months, but whether Goodell lets him back in is a trailer we’ll have to wait for until 2026.
