Brown’s season itself was anything but quiet. Throughout the regular season, he publicly expressed frustration about his role, aired grievances on social media, and even joked about his struggles during a Madden NFL livestream on Twitch. At one point, he told fantasy football managers to drop him, all while virtually throwing himself the ball in the video game. Subtle? Not exactly.
Still, the numbers tell a calmer story. Brown finished the 2025 regular season with 78 receptions, 1,003 yards, and seven touchdowns. Not elite by his own standards perhaps, but hardly a disaster.
What really matters is Sirianni’s final message, which sums up the entire episode:
“I have a special relationship with him. We’ve probably went through every emotion you can possibly have together. … That happens in this game, but I love him.”
In other words, this was not a meltdown. It was football. Emotional, messy, loud football.
