Panthers Sign UFL MVP Bryce Perkins as Andy Dalton Deals With Elbow Injury
The Carolina Panthers are making a quick quarterback move. With veteran QB Andy Dalton sidelined by an elbow injury, the team has signed reigning UFL MVP Bryce Perkins to bolster their depth chart.
Perkins, who shined in the UFL with dynamic playmaking ability, now gets a shot to prove himself on the NFL stage. The Panthers view him as an immediate depth option while Dalton recovers, and his dual-threat skill set could add a new wrinkle to the offense.
This signing comes as Carolina continues to evaluate its quarterback room ahead of the regular season. Rookie Bryce Young remains the starter, but Perkins could see action in camp and preseason as the team manages Dalton’s injury.
