Sean McVay Tears His Foot, Still Outcoaches Titans From Sideline Swagger Pose

Sean McVay may be the youngest head coach to win a Super Bowl, but he might also be the first to injure himself while calling a timeout on the sideline. During the Rams’ 33–19 win over the Titans, he tore his plantar fascia—yet somehow still came out victorious.

On Monday night in Los Angeles, McVay casually spilled the news on his “Coach McVay Show.” Even though the MRI confirmed the injury, McVay himself said:

The guy tore his foot but is still looking for swag! Rams fans have already started making memes – “McVay walking like John Wick but still cooking defenses.”

And if tearing your plantar fascia really does make you heal faster, maybe the Rams medical staff should start handing out foot tears instead of Gatorade.

McVay’s previous sideline antics were already legendary. Sprinting to refs like Usain Bolt, celebrating touchdowns with players—these are now signature moves. This time, though, it looked more like your uncle pulling a hamstring during backyard football. Still, McVay won.

The Rams are now 2-0 and set to face the defending champion Eagles. Fans are on the edge of their seats—will McVay make his entrance with a Swagger Limp, or will he show off even more cool moves?

Final thought: If McVay can beat the Titans while injured, imagining what he’ll do fully healthy against the Eagles is almost too much to handle. Nick Sirianni might want to start stretching right now!
