When people get out of jail, they usually do a few predictable things—meet family, call their lawyer, maybe lie low for a bit. Sherrone Moore, however, chose a different path. His first move after release? Sliding into Instagram DMs. Yes, you read that right. Allegedly, his release-day priority was messaging OnlyFans model Mia Sorety. Entertaining? Absolutely. Sensible? Not even close.
Here’s how the story goes: Moore reportedly messaged Sorety because he was unhappy that she had publicly discussed their past experiences. Sorety, for now, has not shared the full contents of the message. She says she’ll keep it private until she decides to make it public. But honestly, the behavior alone was enough to send the internet into popcorn mode. Because contacting an OnlyFans model immediately after getting out of jail qualifies as—how should we put this—incredibly bizarre behavior.

Sherrone Moore contacted OnlyFans model @miasorety on Instagram after his release from jail.
In the message sent, Moore blasted Sorety for discussing her story and past experiences with him.

And that’s not where things stop. According to Sorety, Moore also subscribed to her OnlyFans account and, back in April, paid for “all of her videos on the site.” As if that wasn’t enough, he allegedly offered her Michigan Football season tickets in exchange for one-on-one interactions—an offer she declined. Mixing sports perks with subscription-based content is a crossover even Bollywood might hesitate to pitch.
There’s more. Moore reportedly invited Sorety to the national championship game in Houston in January 2024. She attended using tickets secured by him and later joined him at the team hotel as his guest. On top of that, rumors suggest he also messaged another OnlyFans model on Instagram during halftime of the Ohio State game earlier this year. When most people are grabbing snacks at halftime, Moore was apparently busy refreshing his DMs—bold strategy.
Meanwhile, reality isn’t nearly as funny. Moore was fired by Michigan earlier this week for having an inappropriate relationship with a Michigan staffer. He was also arrested and charged with felony third-degree home invasion, along with two misdemeanors. In other words, the fouls are stacking up on the life scoreboard, while he remains oddly committed to the DM lane.
All things considered, Sherrone Moore has taught the internet one valuable lesson: when you choose “inbox refresh” over “life reset” on release day, chaos is almost guaranteed.
