Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium has officially turned into “Steelers City” today. The field that is supposed to be the Chargers’ home turf looks completely taken over by Pittsburgh Steelers fans. Even though the Chargers come in with a 6-3 record, they are already losing the numbers game to Steelers fans.
It's embarrassing that a 6-3 #Chargers team is playing a road game at home. The #Steelers outnumber Charger fans at least 4 to 1 in that stadium right now #SNF pic.twitter.com/hkfgBatdAT

The moment you step into the stadium, it’s a sea of black and gold, with countless “terrible towels” waving everywhere. It’s as if Steelers fans have come to claim the city of LA as their own. Earlier this week, the Chargers and Jim Harbaugh tried to practice with a “silent count” to counteract the crowd noise, but clearly, it didn’t work today. Fans are as loud and pumped as ever, shaking SoFi Stadium to its core.

The arrival of the Steelers team on the field and the excitement of the fans make it feel like the Chargers aren’t even playing at home. People on social media are sharing photos and videos, with comments like.

Honestly, looking at these posts, any sense of home-field advantage for the Chargers seems embarrassingly absent.
Checking the weekly kickoff crowd view, it’s clear that Steelers fans are way more numerous this week.

Way more Steelers fans this week pic.twitter.com/J32Og2tp3z
The scene at SoFi is a little sad for Los Angeles but a full-on party for Steelers fans.
For Chargers fans, it’s hard to even smile. The dream of home-field advantage? Gone, buried under a sea of black and gold. At the end of the day, this one belongs completely to the Steelers fans.
