Dallas Cowboys fans are in for another disappointing week. Not on the field, but apparently “at home”, their Pro Bowl cornerback Trevon Diggs took a hit. Yes, you read that right — one of the NFL’s top defenders is now on injured reserve because of a “home accident”!
The Cowboys confirmed that Diggs is heading to injured reserve due to a concussion and will miss at least the next four games. He could return on Thanksgiving Day against the Kansas City Chiefs — if his helmet still fits, of course!

So, it’s not just his head — his knee is acting up too. Now the question is — was this really a “home accident,” or the result of a secret DIY project gone wrong? Coach Brian Schottenheimer told reporters Friday that the team has the full story, but he’s waiting for Diggs himself to share it.
Wow — NFL fans are now waiting not only for his return date but also for his storytelling date!
For Diggs, injured reserve is becoming like an annual holiday. He’s spent part of the season on IR for three straight years. In 2023, he missed 15 games due to a torn ACL, and last year he missed six games for knee surgery. And now — a home injury! It seems Trevon Diggs’ injury list is turning into a new Netflix series every year.
Diggs signed a five-year, $97 million extension in 2023, but now that contract seems to be covering medical bills instead!
The Cowboys are traveling to Denver to face the Broncos, but without Diggs, their defense feels like a Netflix show without a subscription — incomplete, bland, and a little depressing.
