BREAKING: Jets Owner Woody Johnson Wants To Cancel NFLPA Report Cards After Getting An “F” — If you can’t fix the grade, just delete the grading system!

A brand-new episode of NFL drama has dropped — and it’s a good one.
Every year, the NFL Players Association releases “report cards” grading all 32 teams on everything from training rooms and locker rooms to family treatment and team travel.

And guess who graded out with a big, shiny F last year?
Yep — New York Jets owner Woody Johnson.

So now, instead of fixing the issues… he’s reportedly trying to shut the whole system down.

According to ESPN, NFL owners have filed a grievance demanding the NFLPA stop releasing these report cards. Their argument? Publicly criticizing teams supposedly violates the CBA.

Here’s the exact quote that started the firestorm:

And Johnson didn’t stop there. Back in March, he doubled down at the league meeting:

Translation:
“I didn’t fail… the test was unfair!”

NFL’s management council even sent a letter to NFLPA general counsel Tom DePaso claiming that the report cards violate the rule requiring both sides to “curtail public criticism” of teams.

Meanwhile, the NFLPA simply looked at the grievance and said:
“Nope. We’re still doing it.”

They emailed players saying they’ll continue the survey and will fight the grievance because the report cards help players compare workplace standards and make informed career decisions.

In short:
Players love the transparency. Owners hate getting exposed for being cheap.

And leading the anti-transparency movement?
The guy whose franchise got slapped with an F.

You couldn’t script this better.

So the battle lines are drawn:
– NFL owners: “Stop telling everyone how bad our teams are!”
– NFLPA: “Then… maybe improve your teams?”

FINAL TAKE:
Woody Johnson’s new strategy:
If you can’t fix the grade… fix (or delete) the grading system!
